JENNIFER MAHON
Jennifer (Joyce) Mahon currently works as the Creative Director at Success Academy Charter Schools in New York, NY, and was formerly Assistant Creative Director at Columbia University. She is inspired by the ability of color, shape, and language to communicate complex and abstract ideas. She aims to achieve visual beauty, efficient communication, and practical function in her work.
Jennifer is inspired by culture and diversity, and derives inspiration from her experiences of living and traveling throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She is particularly inspired by Italian design, and is fluent in Italian, French, and German, and has intermediate knowledge of Spanish. Jennifer is also a classically trained pianist and singer who has performed at Carnegie Hall, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity Church Wall Street, Tel Aviv Opera, and Lincoln Center. Most recently, she was Music Director at the Church of St. Agnes in Brooklyn, NY.
She studied Digital and Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design at The New School and is a graduate of the MPS Branding Program at the School of Visual Arts, both located in New York, NY.
