Event Branding
35th Anniversary Gala brand campaign and event design
Challenge
For the 35th anniversary NAC Kids Can gala, the objective was to create a unified visual experience that aligned with the organization’s mission and resonated with the event’s attendees. The gala, held at the historic American Museum of Natural History, needed to incorporate both the grandeur of the venue and the importance of the evening's cause. With 800 guests in attendance, and over 200 silent auction items, the design had to strike a balance between sophistication and ease of use, ensuring all materials—from the invitations to the event decor—worked together seamlessly.
Solution
The design took inspiration from the museum itself, particularly the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. It features a color palette of navy blue, turquoise, and silver, and the number 35 is prominently incorporated to highlight the anniversary milestone. This approach resulted in a cohesive and visually appealing brand design that directly contributed to the success of the gala, which raised over $4 million for New Alternatives for Children.
